LCAP Community Meetings
John Swett Unified School District will be reviewing and updating the district's Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) this spring as an element of our budget development process for the 2015-2016 school year. As you may recall, the LCAP is the required accountability mechanism for the new Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) for California public schools. School/community stakeholder participation is an integral part of the process. Similar to last year, the District will host a series of meetings in February to discuss the current plan and funding updates from the State, as well as looking ahead to planning for the next three years, as required by the State. The schedule of meetings is as follows:
Thank you to the students, parents, staff and community members and partners that attended the LCAP meetings in February. Additional meetings will be scheduled as needed. The District will hold a Public Hearing regarding the LCAP on Wednesday, June 10th.
Suggestions or comments for the LCAP can be emailed to lcapjsusd.org
